Privacy Policy

ETEQ (“ETEQ”, “we”, “us”) is a software service operated by ScaleAI Markets that lets businesses and creators (“Campaign Owners”) build and publish interactive quiz funnels (“Campaigns”) that are taken by members of the public (“Visitors”).

This policy explains what personal information we process, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at eteq.scaleai.markets, the ETEQ dashboard and every Campaign hosted on ETEQ.

For Campaign Owners (people who create an ETEQ account), we act as a controller of account information such as your name, email address and login details.

For Visitors who take a Campaign, the Campaign Owner decides what is asked and how the results are used, so the Campaign Owner is the controller and ETEQ acts as a processor on their behalf. If you took a Campaign and have questions about how your answers are used, please contact the business that published it. We will help them respond to your request.

Campaign Owners:

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form) and sign-in records.
• Campaign content: topics, questions, copy, product links, website addresses and settings you provide.
• Payment settings: links or identifiers for your own Stripe or PayPal account. We never receive or store your card or bank details.
• Support communications you send us.

Visitors:

• Contact details you enter: name, email address and, if requested, phone number.
• Your quiz answers and the results and recommendations generated from them.
• Interaction data such as page views, quiz starts and completions, shares, and clicks on recommended offers, plus referral and campaign (UTM) parameters.

Everyone: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type and approximate location derived from IP, collected through server logs to keep the service secure and reliable.

• To provide the service: build Campaigns, show Visitors their results, deliver lead magnet guides and send result emails.
• To let Campaign Owners view, rank and export the leads collected by their Campaigns.
• To recommend relevant products or pages from the Campaign Owner’s own website and linked offers.
• To send transactional emails, such as result emails to Visitors and new-lead notifications to Campaign Owners.
• To secure, maintain, debug and improve ETEQ, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); legitimate interests (securing and improving ETEQ, preventing abuse); consent (where a Visitor chooses to submit their details, or where required for marketing); and legal obligation. Campaign Owners are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for the Visitor data their Campaigns collect.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

• With the Campaign Owner whose Campaign a Visitor took.
• With service providers who host our infrastructure, store data, deliver email and provide AI text generation, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
• With payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal) when a Visitor chooses to pay a Campaign Owner directly. Those payments are governed by the provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
• When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

If a Visitor chooses to share their score, the public result page shows only their first name, score and result label — never their email address, phone number or detailed answers.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep Campaign Owners signed in and to keep the service secure. Campaigns may use local storage in the Visitor’s browser to remember progress. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may prevent the dashboard from working.

Account information is kept while your account is active. Lead data is kept until the Campaign Owner deletes it or closes their account. After deletion, data is removed from active systems promptly and from backups within a reasonable period. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, hashed passwords and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach where required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Campaign Owners can view, export and delete their data from the dashboard. Visitors should contact the Campaign Owner first; you can also email us at support@scaleai.markets and we will assist. You may unsubscribe from any email using the link it contains. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

ETEQ and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers.

ETEQ is not directed to children under 16, and Campaign Owners may not use ETEQ to knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify Campaign Owners by email or in the dashboard.
